my cure for OCD -now that i have made holly as homely as i can
is to study and train like super hard! hahah

I don’t know what the key to success is, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

when you point a finger at someone you also have 3 fingers pointing at yourself, that means you must have a look at yourself at least 3 times before judging someone else.

It is so simple to be happy but it is so difficult to be simple.

To understand others……you have to understand yourself first!

I am present. I am not consumed by that which has yet to happen. I do not dwell too long on that which has passed. This moment is most important.

Being quiet is not bad, most people tend to ignore one another anyways.

a hill too far?

Sheffield Hills lovely and deadly, especially for fat luke! haha!
Today was my first day out on my bike since i arrived and i was really really happy that i went out! The scenery and the terrain is just so freaking good for riding!
i went out of my accomdation and wanted to head to malin bridge where the local club meets on the weekends but instead made a differrent turn due to being in the wrong lane is the roundabout and went toward the peak district, which is by no means a bad place to go!
Met a kind old gentleman who was really friendly when i explained my situation! he pointed me  in the right direction and off i went! explored the place a little (see picture) rode some really nasty hills but slowly and then after reaching the lake turned around to head home!
on the way home, i saw a young cyclist which a jersey which i recognised was from sheffreccc! the local club so i chased after him! chatted with him and tagged along to meet his fren to do some hill training!
reached this little road called lodge lane! and this 15 year old guy i met just turns up the gas and i follow for a bit before getting dropped and griding to a halt!looked like a real idiot try to get off my bike becase it was so steep! later we met his friend another even faster 15 year old and they did it again, this time i went slowly and also measure the climb at an average of 13% for about 2km topping out at 16%
i have never felt so fat in my life! and now i have made some friends who will bring me riding!

Good Morning

Its a new day and the first day of school! i just woke up to this lovely view outside my window!
Last night we had a little cook out and i cooked dinner for some of my flatmates as well as some of the guys i met on the plane! we had pasta and chicken thighs!
YUMM! thou my pasta was horribly overcooked!
here is the lovely view i was talking about!
and on another note! i am feeling happY!!

Hello dear readers! which at this point, yujun is my only reader hahah! i have finally dound some time to myself and posted some pictures of my room!
my shoulders are aching so bad from carrying all my shopping home! though i now feel quite settled in alr! there isnt really any one to talk to leh! humph!
quite bored here! hopefully can make some proper friends fast! hahah
i cooked up a pretty nice meal for myself! spaghetti with pepper steak and butter mushrooms! sounds nice alr right? haha
then had an orange for fruit! wheee!!!
anyways the scenery in the peak district is just soo so awesome i was quite dumbfounded! nvr expexted there to be such a nice landscape in the UK

ok i will update again soon!
my shoudlers are so tired they want to slep!
i plan to ride my bike tomorrow but havent found anyone to take me around
